Athletics Carnival 2013

Finally, on the 1st and 2nd of August, we overcame weeks of rain and held the Years 4-7 athletics carnival, thanks to the impressive organisation of Mr Bandera. Our athletics carnivals involve high level participation from students and a large amount of positive feedback from parents who are able to attend. It was a fabulous 2 days of competition and all the students should all feel very proud of their efforts, their enthusiasm and most of all, their great sportsmanship.
Congratulations must go to all students who participated as well as those who achieved age champion status (see below). Congratulations also must go to Doonella house who were the overall winners of the Years 4-7 athletics carnival (winners Two years in a row!).
A BIG thank you goes to our house captains and vice captains who helped motivate their teams and provided great team spirit.
Good luck to our students who have been selected in the school team to compete at the Noosa District Athletics Carnival.
Thanks to Mr Bandera for his organisation of the carnivals and also to our P&C/canteen volunteers who have assisted with catering for our carnivals. This is greatly appreciated.
