What do you love about Tewantin State School?
Huey: Its open heart. “it brings you in and takes care of you"
Miki: The community!
Billy: Opportunities to do extra curricular activities and the chance to learn in a caring environment.
Charlotte: The atmosphere is kind and respectful and the staff are encouraging and nice
Tell us something we don't know.
Huey: I help a lot in fundraising for my sisters in Nepal.
Miki: I'm one of 7 kids and they all came to Tewantin SS.
Billy: I want to join the Airforce
Charlotte: I donate to vinnies and my pop works there
What are your BIG PLANS for 2024?
Huey: Bring more happiness to school everyday
Miki: Welcome new families to our school and make sure they feel happy.
Billy: I want to show all the new families how good Tewantin SS is and make sure they feel welcome.
Charlotte: Be a great role model and inspire kids to do things they think they can't do

What is your vision for Tewantin State School in 2024?
This year, we focus on our Core Purpose – “Inspiring our Community of Learners". We will bring Fun, Happiness and Engagement. As we edge closer to our 150 year celebration, we want our community to feel a deep connection to our school.
